I had a pretty average stay at Hotel Du Petit Moulin. The location in Le Marais was excellent, making it easy for me to explore attractions like the Musée Picasso and find charming cafés nearby. However, the breakfast was disappointing, and the service from the staff was sometimes lacking (they missed the reservation I asked for). Overall, there were highlights, but some aspects could certainly be improved.

Rooms
7.0
My room was cozy but a bit dark, and I wished it had better lighting. It was nicely decorated with artistic touches and had a comfortable bed with crisp linens. I appreciated the unique design elements, but it felt more cramped than I would have liked.
Service
6.0
The staff were friendly when I interacted with them, but I found them somewhat less helpful with recommendations. They did provide a warm welcome, which I appreciated, but I was left wanting more proactive assistance.
Location
9.0
The hotel is wonderfully located, just a stone's throw away from shops, galleries, and many Parisian attractions. I enjoyed walking around the neighborhood, which had a vibrant atmosphere.
Dining
5.0
I found the breakfast offerings lackluster; the mass market croissants and pre-packaged items didn't meet the expectations I had for such a unique hotel. I did enjoy some local dining options nearby, but the hotel breakfast left something to be desired.
Facilities
7.0
While the hotel has some lovely communal areas, I didn't take advantage of many facilities during my stay. The honor bar concept was interesting, but I wish there were more options available.

6.0/10

I really loved the unique and stylish decor of Hotel du Petit Moulin, and the location in Le Marais is absolutely perfect for exploring the city. However, the service left something to be desired, as I had some issues with housekeeping and my special requests weren't fulfilled. Overall, it was a fun experience, but a few of the service aspects made it feel less boutique and intimate than I had hoped.

Rooms
7.0
The room was funky and well decorated, but quite small, with no balcony. The bathroom was spacious, and I enjoyed the creative design elements, yet I expected a bit more attention to detail, especially given the price.
Service
5.0
While the reception staff were warm and helpful, I faced disappointments with housekeeping. Twice, my room wasn't properly cleaned, which was frustrating and unexpected from such a highly rated hotel.
Location
9.0
The location is fantastic, situated close to great shops and restaurants in Le Marais. It made getting around the city so easy, with several attractions just a short walk away.
Dining
8.0
Breakfast was delicious, especially the pastries, but some aspects could be improved. I found the options a bit limited for specific dietary needs.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel had decent facilities, like an honor bar, but I would've loved to see more offerings, like room service, to enhance the stay.

My stay at Hotel Du Petit Moulin was nice due to its quirky character and artistic decor. However, I faced several disappointments that impacted my experience. The breakfast left much to be desired and the service could have been more attentive in providing information about amenities included in my stay. Overall, while the ambiance was good, the small but significant flaws detracted from the overall enjoyment.

Rooms
6.0
The room was beautifully decorated with a retro feel and spacious despite the fifth-floor climb. However, there was a lack of lighting, making it difficult to navigate. The bathroom amenities were not replenished as expected, which was a letdown.
Service
7.0
The staff were generally friendly and helpful. Although I was disappointed about not being informed about the available spa access and having my late check-out request denied despite room availability.
Location
8.0
Located in the vibrant Marais district, the hotel was perfect for exploring local cafes and shops. Yet, it wasn't as close to major tourist attractions as I had hoped.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast had potential but fell short with pastries that seemed to lack freshness. I opted to eat elsewhere on the second morning after a mediocre first experience.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel had charming characteristics and unique features, though amenities like a well-stocked minibar felt overpriced. I wished there were clearer communications regarding the included facilities.

I had a fabulous stay at Hotel Du Petit Moulin, with its unique decor and attentive service really standing out. The location in Le Marais made exploring so easy, but I did have a slight hiccup with room size and a few amenities. Overall, my experience was quite nice despite the minor issues.

Rooms
8.0
I loved the quirky design of my room, though the size was a bit snug. The spacious bathroom was an added bonus, with nice amenities like slippers and a tea/coffee machine, but I did run into some issues with hot water volume.
Service

The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. They helped with great dining recommendations and were super welcoming.
Location

This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Le Marais, surrounded by fab shops and restaurants. Plus, getting to the metro was a breeze.
Dining

Breakfast was fantastic! They had a great variety of fresh pastries and excellent coffee that really kicked off my mornings. I was particularly pleased with how they catered to my plant-based diet.
Facilities

While there were no gym facilities on-site, the hotel did offer access to a nearby gym and spa, which was convenient. Room service and other amenities were solid and added to the overall experience.

I had a wonderful experience at Hotel Du Petit Moulin, with its charming and artistic decor capturing the essence of Paris. The convenient location in Marais made exploring the area a breeze, but some quirky design choices—like the open bathroom concept—left me wanting more functionality. Overall, the personal service and unique atmosphere made my stay enjoyable, though I wish the room had better lighting and a more practical bathroom setup.

Rooms
8.0
My room was spacious and airy, with a beautifully designed bathroom that, while stylish, proved to be a bit impractical with its unconventional shower setup. The bed was very comfortable, providing restful sleep after long days exploring the city.
Service
9.0
The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. They provided excellent recommendations and made my stay feel personalized and warm, contributing to a lovely experience.
Location
10.0
Situated in the vibrant Marais district, the hotel is surrounded by trendy shops, cafes, and cultural experiences. This perfect base allowed easy access to many attractions, enhancing my overall visit to Paris.
Dining
7.0
Although I didn't try breakfast, it looked delicious with fresh pastries and local flavors. The honest bar was a nice touch for a casual drink after a day of sightseeing.
Facilities
7.0
While the hotel offered a unique honor bar and beautifully designed public areas, I found some amenities lacking compared to other boutique properties I've stayed at in Paris. The overall experience justified the cost, but more amenities would have elevated my stay.
